Mobile Laptop Repair | MobilePCMedics.com

Most computer issues are fairly frustrating to deal with. Luckily, some problems require very little help. Others may require a bit more work. While an individual may be able to solve a lot of laptop problems on their own, sometimes it makes sense to enlist the help of a mobile laptop repair tech. Some common problems that you might call in a technician for include overheating, your laptop not charging, a broken screen or backlight, and damaged ports.

Overheating

When your laptop is constantly shutting down unexpectedly, it might have an overheating problem. Overheating can be very serious in that it could fry your hard drive or motherboard. When this happens, you need to get a new hard drive or motherboard. A mobile laptop repair technician might be able to help you out if the parts for your computer are available.

Computer Will Not Charge

If your laptop will not hold a charge, you might call on a tech for help. A technician may be able to help you identify if the problem is actually your laptop or the charger. If it is the charger, you might just need to purchase a new one. If it is some sort of hardware failure in your laptop, it might require a more thorough inspection.

Broken Screen or Backlight

When your screen will not light up, your backlight may be out. A crack across your screen also means that it needs to be replaced. If you have the parts, but lack the know-how, a mobile computer technician may be able to replace the screen or backlight for you.

Damaged Ports

Improper use of external devices could result in damaged ports. If the ports are damaged, they might need to be replaced. Replacing ports can be a delicate job, so it might be best to leave it to a technician.

A mobile laptop repair tech can usually help you with common laptop problems like those listed above, especially if you already have the necessary parts on hand. Given the nature of some of these repairs, however, do not fret if the mobile tech may need to take your laptop into the shop for a few days.
